Mathematical Methods in Reliability - Joint Research Group (LMS)

This project, sponsored by a Scheme 3 grant from the London Mathematical Society, aims to identify key mathematical challenges underlying quantification of reliability of complex systems and networks, with specific attention to new technologies in energy. The project brings together four UK research groups with complementary expertise in this field, led by the following people:

The main focus points of the joint research activities will be four meetings, all open to the general public. There will be general research presentations and discussions, with some focus on a specific topic per meeting, as outlined below. Further details will follow soon, everybody interested in attending one or more of these meetings is welcome to contact any of the people named above. If you wish to present relevant research results or ideas, or to discuss open challenges, at any of these meetings, do let us know.
