Venues and times

The majority of talks take place on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. The venue is usually located in either Durham University or the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Other talks have taken place or will take place at the Universities of Northumbria at Newcastle, Sunderland, and Teesside. Links to maps of Durham, Newcastle, Sunderland Universities are provided below.

Durham University: Has a slightly old-fashioned map. Parking can usually be arranged in advance. Phone John Little on (0191) 334 3117.
- Room W103 (the Applebey lecture theatre) is in the Geography building (labelled 12 on the map).
- Rooms CY60, CY83, CY85 and CY91 are downstairs from the security lodge in the "red greenhouse" (located near 15 on the map) which is adjacent to the security barrier at the Stockton Road entrance to the science site. Note that these rooom names used to be prefixed with "CG", ie CG60, CG83 etc.
- Room CY232 is two floors up from room CY60 which is helpful information provided you have been to CY60 in the past. Otherwise it may help to know it's in the Chemistry department and to ask for help when you arrive.
- Room CM101 is on the ground floor of the Mathematics department (located near 15 on the map).
- Room Ph30 is on the ground floor of the Physics department (located 12 on the map).
