Statistical Theory and Practice with Imprecision

To advance its mission the JST&P will publish a special issue on imprecision, jointly edited by the guest editors

The special issue welcomes papers on (not exclusively):

The main goal of the issue is to promote recent developments in imprecision to a wide audience in statistics, including both researchers and practitioners. The imprecision page includes ideas about imprecision in statistical practice that hopefully motivate articles and clarify what articles we are hoping to receive. If you are in doubt about suitability of your planned paper for this special issue, feel free to contact either of the guest editors (see above).

The deadline for submission is 31 Oct 2007, and we intend to have the issue published in the second half of 2008.

All papers will undergo rigorous refereeing. Worthy papers that do not quite fit the criteria for inclusion in the special issue can be considered for regular issues of the journal. All communicating authors of accepted papers will receive one copy of the special issue upon publication.
