This one-day workshop will explore the application of mathematical physics techniques to the study of biological systems. The workshop will celebrate the involvement of the Department of Mathematical Sciences in the newly established Durham Biophysical Sciences Institute, as well as the launch of a new MSc in Biomathematics, that is scheduled to start in October 2009.
