There will be 4 long and 4 short talks, beginning Friday at 3.00 pm (registration and coffee at 2.30 pm) and finishing Saturday 12.30 pm. Confirmed speakers for the long talks are: C. Bachas `Conformal defects and holography' J. Jacobsen `Conformal field theory for the Flory model of protein folding' A. Rechnagel `Permutation branes' C. Schweigert `Conformally invariant boundary conditions, triangulations and Frobenius algebras' The remaining speakers will be chosen from among the participants, and we are very keen that students and young postdocs have the chance to speak. We shall pay the costs of all participants who are chosen to speak, and hope also to cover most of the costs of the graduate students who attend. Accommodation and a meal on Friday night will be available in an Oxford College. If you are intending to participate, and have not done so already, please complete the registration form below and return by e-mail to cardy@thphys.ox.ac.uk as soon as possible, and NO LATER THAN MARCH 15. Please indicate if you want to speak at the meeting. The final selection of speakers will be made by the organising committee. Further information will be posted on the conference website at http://www-thphys.physics.ox.ac.uk/users/Jean-SebastienCaux/CFT/CFT.html Financial Arrangements Through grants from the LMS, the Mathematical & Theoretical Physics Group of the IOP, and from All Souls College, Oxford, we expect to be able to pay the economy travel and other costs of speakers, and economy travel and accommodation costs of all research students attending (if funds are available, we shall cover meals, but in any case students should also apply to their home institutions for available funding.) For others, there will be a nominal registration fee of 10 pounds. Tea and coffee will be provided. Location The meeting will be held in the Denys Wilkinson Building (formerly Nuclear and Particle Physics), Keble Road, Oxford. Detailed directions will be given later, and on the web page. Travel Oxford is fairly central and has rail links to most parts of the country, either direct or via a frequent service from London Paddington (1 hour). There is also a frequent bus service from Heathrow Airport (1 hour). It is close to the M40. Parking is limited but can be arranged for those who book in advance.
