The star to the upper left in the first photo below is Capella, the brightest star in the constellation of Auriga.
| After an observing session with the Durham University Astrosoc on the 3rd June 2006 we sighted a reasonably bright display hugging the northern horizon and being somewhat plauged by dark troposperic clouds.
