LMS Durham Symposium
Computational methods for wave propagation in direct scattering

Paul David Ledger (Swansea. UK)

hp-Adaptive finite element simulations for electromagnetics

Abstract

This poster will illustrate the use of an arbitrary order edge element approach to the problem of electromagnetic scattering in two dimensions. The use of reduced-order models to obtain a fast and efficient prediction of the scattering width for multiple incidences will also be described. In addition, the use of an arbitrary order tetrahedral edge element scheme for some three dimensional eigenvalue problems of Maxwell's equations will be presented.
