High order basis and geometry modeling in FEM, BEM, and hybrid methods

Abstract

High order interpolatory curl- and div-conforming bases are reviewed and used in formulating FEM, BEM, and hybrid methods on curvilinear elements. Implementation issues are examined, and expected improvements in accuracy and convergence rates of solutions are demonstrated.
