sysf.cf
FileThe file /etc/sysf.cf
defines some global parameters.
Each line defines a parameters and is of the format
PARAM = VALUE;The values set in the file overwrite the defaults values but can be overwritten themselves by parameters sets in the
sysf
argument list.
Entries that are missing take their default value.
The valid parameters are:
config_dir
: The directory where the config files
are kept. The sysf
-config_dir
parameter overwrite this value.
The default is /usr/local/sys/conf
.config_file
: The file where the sysf entries are defined.
The sysf
-config_file
parameter overwrite this value.
The default is sysf.conf
.remote_shell
: the remote shell to use. This must be either
rsh
(the default), ssh
or none
. Any other value will
causes an error.rsh_com
: the full path name of the rsh command.ssh_com
: the full path name of the ssh command.mail_com
: the full path name of the mail command.check_sum
: the check sum method to use for directory lists.
This must be either md5
(the default) or sysf
(a method that
generates smaller check sum values)Example:
config_dir = /usr/local/sys/config; config_file = sysf.conf; shell = ssh; rsh_com = /usr/bin/rsh; ssh_com = /usr/bin/ssh; mail_com = /bin/mail; check_sum = md5;
