2nd Informal U.K. meeting on 2d integrable models, conformal field theory and related topics.
April 23rd, Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Durham

This is the second in a series of meetings to bring together the UK community working on 2d integrable and conformal field theories, and related areas (string theory, condensed matter...) .  We expect to have about 8 short talks beginning at 11.00am and  to finish some time before 6.00pm. A more detailed schedule can be seen here . If you are interested in attending/talking, please let us know by e-mail  as soon as possible, and in any event no later than Easter, so that we can estimate numbers for the room/lunch/accomodation.

Financial Arrangements

Through a grant of  the Mathematical Physics Group of the Institute of Physics , there will be some support for travel and accommodation, with priority given to speakers and research students.  There will be a nominal registration fee of ten pounds, which will include lunch at Grey College.

Durham is conveniently located on the east-coast railway line, for which time-tables are available on-line. A map of Durham showing the location of the railway station, the Mathematics department and Grey College can be found here.

Accommodation  in Grey College can be arranged for those who would like to spend either the night before or after (or both) in Durham.  The college offers single rooms from around 17.50 pounds to more luxurious rooms with en-suite facilities for around 27.50 pounds.  If you are interested in accommodation please email us with your requirements.
