London Mathematical Society Durham Symposium
Twistors, Strings and Scattering Amplitudes
Sunday 19th August - Saturday 25th August 2007

Outline

This symposium has been organised in order to build on the fruitful interactions between the twistor, string and perturbative scattering amplitude communities that emerged after Witten's introduction of Twistor-String theory in 2003. The meeting will bring together recent developments in all three areas, from recent work in both twistor-string and super-string theory to the remarkable recent developments in scattering amplitudes both for super-gravity and for use in collider physics.

Organising Committee:
Zvi Bern (UCLA), Philip Candelas (Oxford), Xenia De La Ossa (Oxford) and Lionel Mason (Oxford).
