In Year 1, the student followed the BSc Joint-Honours route in Mathematics and Physics that allowed them the option to take any other module (they decided to take Discovery Skills that could have been deferred until Year 2.) Taking Discovery Skills in Year 1 is a requirement of the MSci Mathematics and Physics.
