Welcome to my homepage! I am an assistant professor in the Mathematical and Theoretical Particle Physics at the Department of Mathematical Sciences and Computer Science at Durham University. Here is my academic CV.

- I am broadly interest in string theories, QFT, dualities and their interplay with geometry. You can find my publications and preprints here.
- All things Calabi-Yau, compact or not

- Exceptional Holonomy: G(2) and Spin(7)

- Hodge loci of Calabi-Yau fourfolds, possibly elliptically fibred ones

In the last week it is not unlikely that I have worked on:

- Geometry of Mathematical Physics III Michaelmas Term 22/23 lecture notes (pdf) (html)
- Dynamical Systems III Epiphany lecture notes (pdf)
- String Theory MSc lecture notes (pdf)
- QFT II MSc lecture notes (pdf)
- I have supervised several MSc thesis in the last years, if you are interested in doing a project with me, just write me an email an we can discuss a topic.

- Various Talks (from 2017-2023) given in meetings of the Simons Collaboration on Special Holonomy in Geometry, Analysis, and Physics

- 'The fate of higher form symmetries in
string compactification, 2021, NBMPS 63

- 'String Vacua, Geometry, and Arithmetic', GADEPs Seminars 2021

- 'From F-theory to G2 manifolds', Physics and Geometry of F-theory 2018 held at IFT-Madrid, 2018.

- My
Birthday in Mathematics
- All you ever wanted to know about Calabi-Yau manifolds, but were afraid to ask: Max Kreuzer's CY page at TU Wien; CYTools
- Sage: free open-source mathematics software
- The Oxford mathematics Alphabet
